Our Process and Services

At Goodman Window & Door, we take pride in our meticulous installation process to ensure a seamless experience for every customer:

1. Measurement and Quote
• We start by visiting your property to take precise measurements, which can be done from the outside if you’re unavailable.
• Based on these measurements, we provide a detailed quote for both the product and installation. If initial measurements were rough, we return to obtain exact measurements, ensuring each opening is measured to within 1/8″ for a precise fit.
2. Order Placement and Scheduling
• Once you approve the quote, we proceed to place the order for your custom impact windows or doors.
• We then schedule the installation, typically 5-10 weeks out depending on the specific product and its availability.
3. Installation Prep
• On the scheduled installation day, our skilled installers will arrive promptly at your home.
• They begin by covering furnishings in the work area to protect against dust and debris, ensuring a clean workspace.
4. Window Installation and Caulking
• Your old windows are carefully removed (and recycled at the completion of the job), and the new impact windows are carefully installed.
• We meticulously caulk both inside and outside the windows to prevent any water infiltration, ensuring your home remains dry and secure.
5. Job Wrap-up 
• We’re not done until you are happy with the job.  We will do what it takes to make sure the product and installation meets your expectations.
6. Enjoy your new Windows

• Customers always notice a significant reduction in outside noise after installation, thanks to the superior soundproofing qualities of our insulated impact windows.  Impact windows are quite heavy which equates to superior soundproofing qualities.

We offer and encourage the selection of Argon gas filled glass and a heat blocking “Low-E” coating to further improve the heat rejection qualities of your new windows.  You will likely notice significant energy savings by doing so.
